Touchscreen Kiosk

The GuestTouch Interactive Multimedia Touchscreen Kiosk system, a combination of computer software and hardware, and often a kiosk enclosure, which together present information about a specific site (such as a resort, a hotel, a shopping center, or an airport), along with other information about shopping, restaurants, activities, and sightseeing on the Island of Maui. DRC has plans for other interactive multimedia products including: (1) interactive sales tools: (2)interactive marketing tools; and (3) other interactive tools for resorts, hotels, and other businesses that are customized to the individual company's needs.

A "multimedia kiosk" may be defined as "a free-standing, self-contained structure (in architectural terms, a structure open on one or more side) that incorporates computer technology to display text, animation, graphics, images, and motion video plus high-fidelity sound." A touchscreen is the standard input device in most envrionments. DRC's kiosks may be classified as informational or promotional in that they are primarily advertising vehicles that promote the products or services of the owners of the premises on which they are placed and of the advertisers of Maui.
